Founded in 1936, we look back on more than 80 years of successful company history.

Since our founding, we have continuously developed ourselves and established a comprehensive and interdisciplinary range of expertise in order to offer our customers innovative and tailor-made solutions and to be a reliable partner for them.

As a result, our scope of services extends to complex solutions of technical tasks from hydraulic steel construction, steel construction, steel bridge construction as well as lifting and conveying technology – of course always according to individual customer requirements. In addition, we offer extensive crane tests by our certified crane experts.

History

With more than 80 years of company history, we are very proud of our local history in Bremen as well as the success that our company has achieved – both then and today.

1936

Founding Bock and Agatz

Originally the company was founded in 1936 as engineering company Bock and Agatz. It was then, 1949, continued as engineering office Prof. Dr. Agatz successor – later under the name Lackner – Kranz – Barth (LKB) in Bremen.

1975

Engineering office Kranz and Klamann

From 1975 the department Dr.-Ing. E. Kranz was continued as engineering office Dr.-Ing. Kranz – Dipl.-Ing. Klamann.

1991

Engineering office Klamann, Hoffmeister and Wehner

After the entry of Dipl.-Ing. Hoffmeister and Dipl.-Ing. Wehner the company was continued as engineering office Dipl.-Ing. Klamann – Dipl.-Ing. Hoffmeister – Dipl.-Ing. Wehner.

2007

Horst Wehner becomes sole shareholder

Due to the retirement of Dipl.-Ing. Hoffmeister, Dipl.-Ing. Horst Wehner becomes sole shareholder.

2019

Entry of new partners

In 2019, the long-term employees Dipl.-Ing. Linda Petrick and Dipl.-Ing. Jan Masemann join the company as partners of Mr. Wehner. The company continues as engineering office WEHNER – Consulting Engineers PartG mbB.

Dipl.-Ing. Horst Wehner ist nach dem altersbedingten Ausscheiden von Dipl.-Ing. Hoffmeister Alleininhaber.

Nach Eintritt der langjährigen Mitarbeiter Dipl.-Ing. Linda Petrick und Dipl.-Ing. Jan Masemann als Partner von Herrn Wehner, wird das Unternehmen als Ingenieurbüro WEHNER – Beratende Ingenieure PartG mbB weitergeführt.

Projects

… such as the planning of new closures of the Aswan Dam in Egypt or the static planning of the Teerhof Bridge over the river “Weser” in the heart of Bremen, are among our extensive engineering services. We implement each project with commitment and expertise.

Amongst others, our experienced team include certified crane experts and welding specialist engineers (SFI), who complete our interdisciplinary range of skills and competencies. However, we are always happy about energetic support and dedicated new colleagues.
